Chemical Peels
Non-abrasive exfoliation with rejuvenating benefits
Your skin is constantly producing skin cells, but a common problem that leads to texture and dry skin is dead skin cell buildup. To get rid of this buildup it’s important to exfoliate your skin.
There are two forms of exfoliation: physical and chemical. A chemical peel in LaSalle uses chemical exfoliation instead of abrasive physical exfoliation to get rid of dead skin cells and renew your skin.

How It Works
Consultation
Before your chemical peel in LaSalle at LIV Wellness Lounge, you can meet with an experienced provider for a complimentary skin consultation. We'll use this time to learn about your skin concerns and goals for treatment. After determining that a chemical peel is the best treatment for your needs, we'll recommend a customized chemical peel for you.
Treatment
You'll relax for your treatment while your chemical peel specialist preps your skin and applies the peel. You may feel mild tingling sensations as the solution works to remove dead skin cells. Multiple treatment sessions are necessary for optimal results.
Results
Your skin will be more sensitive after this treatment and may have some redness. Any sensitivity will dissipate within days. Your LIV Wellness Lounge specialist will give you any aftercare instructions as needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Am I a good candidate for a chemical peel?

-
Will a chemical peel remove dark spots?
