Consultation
Before your treatment with dermaplaning in LaSalle at LIV Wellness Lounge, you can meet with a provider for a skin consultation. We'll discuss your skin concerns and desired results to make sure this is the best treatment for your needs.
Treatment
For your treatment, you'll relax as your dermaplaning specialist gently sweeps over your skin to remove dirt, debris, and dead skin cells, as well as vellus hair. This treatment is painless.
Results
Immediately after your dermaplaning treatment, your skin will look and feel smoother. You'll find that the absence of facial vellus hairs helps your skincare products penetrate deeper and makeup apply more smoother.

QUESTIONS
A common worry from clients is that their vellus hairs (peach fuzz) will grow back thicker after regular dermaplaning treatments. This is not true! The hair will eventually grow back, but it will not be any more thick or dense than before.
Many of our clients get dermaplaning several times a year or once a month to help maintain their skin. While it’s important to not over-exfoliate your skin, you can safely get dermaplaning every few weeks.
Those with active acne, irritated or overly sensitive skin, or any form of skin infection should not receive dermaplaning, as it can spread bacteria and further irritate your skin.

I can’t say enough good things about Nikki at LIV! She is getting my skin ready for my wedding in February with BBL/Moxi laser treatments. She has been so kind and helpful every step of the way. I’ve tried many services at LIV and I’ve never been disappointed. I had a moxi laser treatment with Andrea and it left my skin looking amazing! She was so patient and attentive during the treatment. Her expertise is the lasers is incredible! She’s also done laser hair removal on me and the BBL hero. She has a way of making you feel so relaxed and comfortable! I’ve had some facials with Faith and they were THE best facials of my life! Her massages are amazing! I loved that she didn’t talk to me the entire time and let me relax and enjoy the experience!
