This hair loss treatment uses your body’s own natural growth factors known as PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) to stimulate new hair growth. This injection helps increase blood supply to your scalp’s hair follicles to encourage hair growth and thickness to diminish hair loss.

Before your PRP hair restoration treatment at LIV Wellness Lounge in LaSalle, enjoy a complimentary consultation. We’ll discuss your concerns, desired results, and set realistic expectations. From there, we’ll create a personalized PRP hair restoration treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Treatment

For the procedure, your provider will first take a blood sample, which is then centrifuged to extract the growth factors. A local anesthetic is applied to numb your scalp before the PRP injections are administered. Throughout the process, your comfort is a top priority.

Results

There is no downtime after this treatment, but we will give you aftercare instructions to ensure the best results. Most notably, we will ask that you do not wash your hair on the same day of treatment. There may be mild swelling that will resolve within 2 days.

The results of PRP hair restoration are long term, but they are not permanent. Many clients receive maintenance treatments a couple of times a year.
If you’re suffering from hair loss and want to improve the thickness and amount of hair growth naturally, you may be an excellent candidate for PRP hair restoration treatments. We will assess if you have any contraindications that would not qualify you as a candidate.
