Consultation

Before your IPL photofacial at LIV Wellness Lounge in LaSalle, you'll have a complimentary consultation. We'll assess your skin with VISIA Skin Analysis and discuss your concerns. If BBL Hero is right for you, we'll create a personalized treatment plan.

Treatment

We recommend 2 to 4 treatments for optimal results. We’ll prep your skin, provide protective eyewear, and use the BBL Hero handpiece set to a specific wavelength for your skin. Treatment time varies by area, which can include the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, legs, and back.

Results

One of the major benefits of BBL Hero is there is virtually no downtime! You can get right back to your day after your provider gives you aftercare instructions. We space out IPL photofacial treatments 2 to 4 weeks apart.

BBL Hero is a culmination of years of advancements, research, and improvements on the original BBL technology. BBL Hero works at 4x the speed, 3x the power, and 2x cooling capacity (for better comfort). Faster treatment time makes this treatment easier to work into your schedule. Multiple wavelength settings allow us to treat a wider variety of conditions, from acne to unwanted body hair!

We can determine how many BBL treatments you need to achieve your goals with a complimentary skin consultation with a LIV Wellness Lounge specialist. We’ll learn about your concerns, desired results, and skin condition to recommend the amount of treatments necessary.

Most clients find this treatment very tolerable. The system uses CoolComfort™ technology to maintain comfort and optimal temperatures.

When I first came to Liv Wellness, I had Nurse Molly for Botox and lip filler. Molly was incredibly informative and walked me through everything step by step, which made the experience so comfortable as someone completely new to it all. I also had a consultation for assisted weight loss with the owner, Michelle. Michelle is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to do a full panel of blood work before starting me on phentermine. Through my results, she discovered I was low on testosterone, iron, fiber, and several other things. I have struggled with fluctuating weight gain ever since becoming pregnant with my son over a decade ago. During and after my pregnancy, I was prescribed antidepressants by my primary care provider. Unfortunately, I never truly felt like they were helping — I often felt the same, if not worse. Michelle explained that low testosterone can play a major role in both depression and weight gain, and hearing that honestly felt life-changing for me. Since then, I’ve stopped taking antidepressants and started truly investing in my health and wellness. I’m hopeful to soon begin testosterone pellet therapy to help manage my weight, energy, and overall mental health. I would absolutely recommend Liv Wellness to anyone who feels “off” and wants real answers from people who genuinely listen, care, and take the time to help you understand your body.

I am so incredibly thankful for the help and guidance I am receiving from LIV Wellness. From the second I walked in the door the staff was welcoming and kind. I can’t say enough good things about Nikki at LIV! She is getting my skin ready for my wedding in February with BBL/Moxi laser treatments. She has been so kind and helpful every step of the way. I’ve tried many services at LIV and I’ve never been disappointed. I had a moxi laser treatment with Andrea and it left my skin looking amazing! She was so patient and attentive during the treatment. Her expertise is the lasers is incredible! She’s also done laser hair removal on me and the BBL hero. She has a way of making you feel so relaxed and comfortable! I’ve had some facials with Faith and they were THE best facials of my life! Her massages are amazing! I loved that she didn’t talk to me the entire time and let me relax and enjoy the experience! Microneedling and IV therapy are 2 more of my favorite treatments! LIV has something for everyone- any age or skin type! Check it out if you’re looking to feel better in your skin!
