Renew Your Skin with a HydraFacial Near Naperville

Over the last couple of decades, HydraFacials have established themselves as a cornerstone of aesthetic care. Probably because they are quick, effective, and suitable for all skin types and tones.

Maybe there is a wedding or a holiday party you’re looking forward to?  A HydraFacial is a great way to prepare your skin beforehand. HydraFacials are great for people of all ages, too. They’re wonderful for teens looking to prepare for a big event, perhaps your senior photos or a homecoming dance this fall.

At LIV Wellness Lounge in LaSalle and Ottawa, we offer multiple options for renewing your skin, including a HydraFacial near Naperville. We view our clients as a partnership—we want to work together to achieve all of your skincare goals. During your consultation, your provider may recommend one or more skin care treatments to combine and give you the best possible results. HydraFacials work wonderfully with most of the treatments we offer.

How is a HydraFacial different from other facials?

As a one of a kind, medical grade facial, HydraFacial is the perfect addition to your regular skin care routine. They’re quick, the treatment itself lasts about 30-60 minutes, and requires zero downtime afterwards, so you can get right back to your day!

HydraFacials are also customizable, utilizing different boosters to promote skin brightening and clarity. Boosters can increase the time your treatment takes, but also give you greater results.

Ask your LIV Wellness Provider about the HydraFacial Deluxe or the HydraFacial Platinum. Deluxe includes one added booster, platinum also includes a lymphatic drainage massage for your face as well.

No matter the level of HydraFacial you choose, there are 3 key steps to the treatment using patented Vortex technology to rejuvenate your skin. Every HydraFacial follows this process, which keeps your results consistent and restores your glow every time:

Step 1: Cleanse & Exfoliate

HydraFacials give your face a deep cleanse and exfoliation using hydradermabrasion technology to gently remove dead skin cells and other build-up. As with other exfoliation methods, this reveals a newer layer of skin.

When it comes to exfoliation, there are physical exfoliation methods and chemical ones. The HydraFacial system uses a combination of both!

The HydraFacial system uses a nonirritating mix of salicylic and glycolic acids as a gentle chemical peel to remove deeply set pore debris.

Step 2: Extract & Hydrate

Next, a painless suction tip removes dirt, oil, and other impurities from your pores. The spiralized tip works with the vacuum to create a vortex to perform the extractions. Then, the same device applies a nourishing hydrating serum. Because your skin is so clean, the serums are able to penetrate even more deeply.

Step 3: Fuse & Protect

The last step of the treatment applies antioxidants and peptides that maximize your skin’s healthy glow post treatment. This step helps detoxify, rejuvenate, and further hydrate your skin by locking in the moisture from the previous step. Your skin’s new glow will be noticeable as soon as you’re done!

What HydraFacials treat:

Can you pair other treatments with a HydraFacial?

Getting your HydraFacial near Naperville can be just one part of a well deserved spa day. At LIV Wellness Lounge, there are several other treatments that can enhance the benefits of your HydraFacial further.

During your consultation, your provider will discuss whether a combination of treatments would be the best choice for you. Here are some of our pairing options:

Dermaplaning

The exfoliation of a dermaplaning treatment pairs really naturally with a HydraFacial. During your dermaplaning treatment, your provider uses a small scalpel to scrape away debris and vellus hairs (“peach fuzz”) to reveal new skin cells.

If dermaplaning is performed before a HydraFacial, it can make your HydraFacial more effective. Together, both treatments provide a more thorough exfoliation, which allows the nourishing serums from the HydraFacial to infuse more deeply into the skin.

Chemical Peel

Depending on your skin goals, combining a HydraFacial with a chemical peel is another way to achieve deeper results from your skin treatment.

A HydraFacial can be used to clean and prep the skin prior to your chemical peel, enhancing the results of your peel. Everyone’s skin is different, so it’s important to talk to your provider about the results you are hoping to achieve.

Neurotoxins

HydraFacials are great to pair with your regular Botox or Xeomin (neurotoxin) treatments. Both types of injectables also work to promote younger looking skin, just like HydraFacials, but using different mediums.

Neurotoxins are injected into your skin and work by relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles when they contract, like when you smile or frown. A HydraFacial works to smooth and rejuvenate the surface of the skin where the neurotoxin is working underneath.

If you’re getting both of these treatments on the same day, your HydraFacial will be done first! It’s important to avoid unnecessary rubbing or movement after your injections, so that the neurotoxin isn’t displaced.

If you’re having your HydraFacial after your neurotoxin treatment, you should schedule it at least 5 days later.

Microneedling

For clients looking to improve their skin texture, getting a HydraFacial prior to your microneedling treatment is a great option. Microneedling is our most aggressive and transformative treatment for skin texture at LIV Wellness Lounge. It promotes collagen and elastin production through controlled micro-injury to the skin.

You can have your HydraFacial right before your microneedling session, or schedule it a few days after to make sure your skin has enough time to heal.

IV Drip

While not technically a skincare specific treatment, making sure you’re getting enough vitamins and minerals is an important part of your overall health, which does impact your skin. IV Drip Therapy gives your immune system a boost, which detoxifies the body and reduces stress.

You can schedule your HydraFacial and IV Drip appointments on the same day to experience whole body rejuvenation.

What to expect getting your HydraFacial near Naperville:

The process for getting a HydraFacial at LIV Wellness Lounge mirrors the process for all our treatments in LaSalle and Ottawa. We always begin with a consultation before starting any treatment plan, then we schedule your treatment!

Consultation

Prior to starting any treatment plan, you’ll get to meet with one of our providers for a  complimentary skin consultation. You’ll discuss your skin concerns, your desired results, and develop a customized plan to reach your goals.

Many of our clients include HydraFacials as part of their ongoing skincare regimen. Your provider may recommend combining one or more skin care treatments as part of a co-therapy strategy to maximize results.

Treatment

The treatment process for HydraFacials is all about relaxation. You get to lay back and enjoy the experience. Your provider preps your skin and then begins the 3 step process to exfoliate, hydrate, and renew.

Results

You’ll get to enjoy your HydraFacial results instantly. There will be a noticeable glow! Plus, your skin will feel softer and look clearer.

The results remain noticeable for up to a week. Proper at home care can also extend and maintain your results.

You can schedule a HydraFacial once a month, or every 4 to 6 weeks to continue to enjoy the benefits. The results from a HydraFacial are always consistent.

Frequently Asked Questions

HydraFacials are really popular, here are some of the questions we get asked most frequently!

HydraFacial vs Geneo: which is better?

We offer both of these treatments at LIV Wellness Lounge, and both are effective facial methods. Which one is better really comes down to a personal preference.

Similar to a HydraFacial, a Geneo oxygen facial uses natural ingredients and specialized non-invasive, gentle technology to exfoliate your skin. The oxygenation process increases oxygen levels in your skin to help it absorb the nutrients during the rest of the treatment.

Geneo facials take longer than a HydraFacial, but also produce consistent and instant results. You can also combine Geneo treatments with other skin care treatments. Talk with your provider about which facial might work best for you. There’s no reason not to give both a try before deciding!

Can you get a HydraFacial with active acne?

Absolutely! Acne treatment is just one of the many benefits of a HydraFacial. Further, the HydraFacial helps to clear the pores of blackheads and acne causing bacteria, so it can prevent new acne from forming.

If you’re having an active breakout, you might be more likely to experience redness after your treatment. But scheduling a HydraFacial can be a great way to speed up the healing process. For cystic acne or acne under the skin, your provider may recommend a different treatment or a combination to help you get the best results.

Do you offer HydraFacial Keravive?

Yes! Through Keravive, we can also apply the benefits of a HydraFacial to your scalp. The same three-step process can improve dryness, flakiness, and your overall scalp health, leading to fuller looking hair.
